I still don't full understand the point of 4k displays...

Everyone saying this seems to be coming at it from a film/videogame angle. The productivity benefits from having four times the screen real estate seem massive and obvious to me. As well as the fact the increased pixel density looks a million times more pleasant that typically sized 1920x1080 monitors do.

That is why I'm interested in 4K. Having 2 browser windows side by side, a term paper, Terminator, and watching a 1080p movie at once?  Yes please.

So at first I thought you meant the movie (The) Terminator... then you went and added random movie at the end.  So is this the Terminator you speak of?
