this thread is about finding out all of the keycaps needed by all of the special layout 60% boards.

tacticalstache was talking about a software solution that turns the spacebar into a function button when you hold it down.  that way, you can buy a normal layout keyboard (the poker 2) and still have cursor keys.

DSA is a keycap profile where EVERY single key is the same height.

for other profiles such as OEM, cherry, DCS, each row is a different height. eg if you put the 'q' key in the 'b' spot, you'll notice it's taller than the 'v' and 'n' keys.

using DSA makes it simpler to replace the weird-sized keys because you can use replacement keys from any other part of the keyboard.

ALL zombros wanted:  dead or undead or dead-dead.

Added a chart of 3 keyboards. Please correct me if any info is wrong.
The Leopold FC660M's space bar in the diagram is 6.25, not 6 units. What is correct?

Leopold FC660M space bar is 6.25x, but its stems are 85 mm apart. The standard separation of stems is 100 mm.

Kind of sad that this is slowly dying, was hoping to see keycap sets with non-standard layouts in mind.

Non-standard layout should be ended immediately

Thread cleaned up.  This is a discussion specifically for gathering factual information about non-standard layouts.  If you wish to discuss the merits of standard layouts vs. non-standard, then a separate thread could be made for that topic.
