Due to being unemployed still after a year of looking and having some unexpected expenses pop up, I'm putting up my IBM Model F AT for auction. I'm sad to see it go because it's an awesome keyboard, but you do what you have to do. Normally I wouldn't do an auction since I don't like them, but I have no clue how to fairly price this keyboard since the prices are all over the place. Since it's the only real fair way to gauge it's worth that I can think of, I really don't have much choice.
The keyboard itself is in great condition. Not perfect, but very good for its age. The caps don't really show any wear that I saw, the plate has minimal rust (rust is a common issue with the Model F,
pre-cleaning pictures of the plate), and it functions perfectly. If desired, I can upload a video of me typing on it. There are a few main issues with it that I have pictures of. These are not severe problems, but should be noted for full disclosure: 1. One of the rubber pads on the bottom is missing, 2. There are a few marks on the bottom, 3. The top left and bottom left corners have some wearing through, 4. There is some of what appears to be oxidation on the badge. Outside of these issues, it's in very good condition, I just want to fully disclose those areas.
Details about the keyboard:
Pt No: 1503092
EC No: DF 1334
Shop Date: F11 5344
In addition to the keyboard, I will be including an AT to PS/2 adapter and a PS/2 to USB adapter.
The starting bid is $125 and there's a buy it now price of $175. This is based on the minimum fair price I was given for the keyboard and the maximum fair price I was given for it. Winner pays shipping and Paypal or Amazon Payment fees. I will likely be shipping this Priority Flat Rate if you're in the US which should be ~$16. I am not responsible for it being lost or damaged in transit.
Rules1. Bid as often as you want
2. Bids must be a minimum of $3 increments and preferred in at least $5 increments. This is to do away with silly $1 and less bids.
3.
Auction closes at 9PM PST, September 7th (which should be 22:00:00 forum time).

Close up of the small issues with it:

I cleaned off the brown here in the photo. You can open it up and clean it a little better.
Added a buy it now price that's toward the upper range of what was stated as a fair price just for the keyboard, not including the adapters I'm bundling with it.
