Do you believe that topre 45 and 55g has a strong enough release force to make fast-typing and pressing/repeating good?
I mean: the reason I prefer light weight is to be able to press faster, right? For example, if I compare red and black cherry mx switches im not sure that red switches actually alows faster typing, since if u go with blacks and just "bottom out less" than with reds, the force you press should still be equal to the force you release due to newtons laws, assumably.
This is why Im starting to think that tactile switches allows for better force release due to the "automatic bottoming out" if you will.
If you have an initial 10-40g the first 1 mm and then bottoms out with 5-10g, the release should be instant to the top. Of course double tapping might be an issue, but it allows to press the single key faster, I guess. Of course you will need the tactility to occur as late as possible, preferebly after the actuation point.
Any thoughts on which switch, be it topre og cherry, that delivers such?
