Xkeys 80 Controller Mate and the MAC fn key
« on: Fri, 20 September 2013, 20:44:09 »
I have the Xkeys from PI engineering 80. A MAC Book Pro. Using cotrollermate 4.7. Controllermate says that there is no way to record the fn key. Now i used to own the old ps2 xkeys a while ago and found a work around for a similar problem but that was years ago and cannot remember the trick. I am trying to get the FN key + the up arrow to record into a key. Does anyone know of a workaround to do this. Do i need to try a different software. Or can i put in the code somehow.

I am including what i have so far. It is so far a profile for a lighting program for etc consoles.

Thanks

Yes the Fn key is not a HID key code I believe so cannot be emulated. It's purely an Apple internal key for giving keys double duty.
