Guys. its landing by the 16th.
what if I don't love it?
Give yourself a couple of weeks with it, preferably exclusively. The layout might take a little getting used to, but you should come to realise that it is the correct layout.
Thanks for the heads up rowdy. I wasn't immediately blown away but I can appreciate the board. I've only had it two days And not alot of computer time.
My 60% had a split right shift and the same delete backspace layout, but the left control and arrow setup is new to me
Sent from my fingers at a local payphone
how was it?
So i'm definitely enjoying it more than when I first got it.
The keys feel really crisp and snappy.
Switching from the command key left of the space bar to the control key is weird.
I use a mac all day at work and windows at home. haven't really used the control key because of this.
I have to hold down fn to use the delete key, which is kind of annoying on the mac.
If anyone knows how to fix that, let me know.
More than anything else, the arrows are really difficult to get used to.
I have since reprogrammed my aek and my gh60 to put the arrows on [;'/ instead of ijkl. hopefully this will speed up my learning curve.
I love the sound of the left shift though. omg
interesting fact is that my WPM average has improved by almost 30% and accuracy has improved by 5%
not that the board is controlling my fingers, but the amount I spent has made me practice more and that has resulted in some decent gains in that aspect.
