You are always a little bitter anyway, amirite?

Black coffee tho? Get some damn creamer and a sugar. Make it your own.

Stupid banks and dealing with paralegals who have no understanding of the law with regards to my job.  Takes 2 hours to do something that shouldn't take more than 30 minutes and sometimes they still refuse even when provided all the documents and relevant code sections

Poor Hoff, I'll never be over dramatic again haha.

Except in my snaps, which are like:
"I might die today"
" I think I'm gonna die"
"I'm so tired I might die"

Okay, I really need to stop saying things like that haha.

I love coffee, but I feel the same way. I'm trying to cut back things that aren't good for me (food and otherwise) and I decided to try black coffee, major fail. Terrible. Then I did skim milk in my latte and only after a week of persisting did I find it tolerable.

I'm not good at change, man.

Black coffee is far from being **** once you are in Italy.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Installing Debian.

Make bootable USB stick
--Error, you need to use a CD or DVD because these usb ports are complicated.  No full install for you.
Make netinst CD
--Error, DHCP isn't behaving.  No netinstall for you.
Manually configure ../interfaces
--Error, you non-free hardware.  No ping 8.8.8.8 for you.

What's wrong with making USB sticks from .iso's?

That was the first thing I did.  It doesn't recognize the USB as being a valid file location.  It demands a CD.

Your motherboard does not allow boot from USB or a more involved issue?

I'm guessing the info is that the USB drivers aren't loading.  BIOS plays well with my USB devices, but as soon as I go into Debian or the install, I am limited to my PS/2 keyboard.  I wonder if they fall under the non-free firmware for this mobo.

drinking coffee at 22:30.

Now that is a serious problem. I never ingest caffeine after mid-afternoon unless I have a real and carefully-considered reason for it.

(Except that the minuscule amount in chocolate doesn't count, of course!)
"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

Coffee machine broke in the morning so I had to shift caffeine injections to a later hour.
All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

drinking coffee at 22:30.

Now that is a serious problem. I never ingest caffeine after mid-afternoon unless I have a real and carefully-considered reason for it.

(Except that the minuscule amount in chocolate doesn't count, of course!)
There was a time when I needed to drink coffee 3-4 hours before I slept. I dunno if it was because coffee opens up my respiratory system or because of the crash I experienced. I'm a high altitude guy living below sea level so ymmv.

Now I'm bothered by my body's lack of caffination  :( time to make a cup

Crisis averted. They're 'revamping' the notes section of MyFonts.
