Do you think we'll ever see some prototypes on sale later?

Well, maybe sometime down the road when I've managed to make a bunch of them and feel like letting them go on to a home that'll appreciate them. But that's way in the future.

If I did do that I would probably post in the GH classifieds and not on my site.

Sounds fair, I'm so blown away by the quality of your work that I feel like they'll become pretty popular some time soon. On another note, just noticed that Ripster posted your site to the mechanical keyboard subreddit, so maybe some publicity will head your way soon :)

Great work, if you can get your hands on brown dye, can you reserve a white and brown bunny cap? Thanks!

Depends on who you ask, some people love him, some people hate him, but there's no doubt that he's extremely active in the mech community.

Oh I may, I might make this a whole series of small woodland creatures (big Brian Jaques fan from when I was a kid)

Love the bunny cap!  I've been hoping someone would make a dwarf hamster cap :)  My dream is to have one of those in some teal/turquoise/pink color range.  If you ever feel like experimenting with that shape, please let me know!!

Tanks! Also, a mouse eh? Definitely maybe, I was thinking of doing a mouse and a badger, maybe a horned animal of some kind. These are all part of series in this style.

Like a narwhal! Though I suppose you'd get poked in the finger every time you wanted to use that key. Would be pretty great though. And goats. Goats are also great. :D

For those with these caps, how sturdy are they? I don't want to chew on a rabbit ear and see it break off  :))

Very hard (insert innuendo here) although with some of these new caps I'm experimenting with OOMOO smooth-casts.

Haha, you know it! Although some will remain fossils...

Been thinking about goats. That sounds odd.

Very sturdy! Plus, I made sure to make the ears quite thick, especially at the base. Although, if you really did chew on it there are no guarantees.

Haha, nice one! That's a clean classy look ;)

If all goes as planned, I'll be putting up some new caps this weekend.
At this point casting in white is starting to be one of my favourite colors (or non colors)... so posh.

I actually haven't released cyan yet, well actually its more of a light green. Those were prototypes, although why I made so many is a mystery. I'll be actually doing that color later though! I think next should be blue though, I haven't broken my blue dyes in yet :D

In confused by how this works but cool!! Will you be making more stuff?

Silicone mold followed by pouring resin!

Sure, I'm just itching my brain for more ideas. I might make some limited sets if people are into that.

I have one idea for you. The Engineer elephant trunk helmet from the Prometheus

How about a sculpt of a key that's been pressed too hard? As though the keycap were made of soft wax, and was pressed down and smooshed just a bit.

Hmmm, maybe! That's going onto my idea board. Along with dogecap. That one would be quite appropriate considering my previous caps.

Haha, no problem, thanks for the support!

Just an update: I haven't died, I've been struggling with dino skulls over Christmas which turns out to be quite challenging. I can tell you all that those are on hold while I give the moulds for them a rethink (tricky buggers).

I do have 3 new designs finished, however release of those will have to wait until I receive some *special* equipment.
