WTB: Custom QFR or Filco Painting Services
« on: Wed, 13 November 2013, 03:39:42 »
Hello everyone,

I've been a lurker here for quite a long time. I was wondering if anyone did custom paint jobs for QFR cases or Filco. I would really like one in Seafoam, and would pay for the shipping and services. Please let me know! Thanks.

P.S. I am more active on [H]ardforum than I am here, so I've had quite a few transactions that are logged through heatware.
Let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks!

I could help you, but it's unfortunately too cold to paint now where I live, until spring :(

Wasn't a tease, just saying that I can help if you still need this later on.  If it's warm where you live, check out the link in my signature--maybe you could experiment with painting it yourself!

I read through Photoelectric's painting tips a while ago when I wanted to paint my QFR. Although I never ended up doing it, with a guide like that I don't think I could have failed. It is very thorough and well written.

If worst comes to worst you could buy another QFR case. If they're still for sale by CM. (Not sure)

just get some 3m vinyl wrap and a heat gun... You can know it out in like 30mins and if you don't like just remove it.

You could try this out. Or like I mentioned before, try it yourself! You can grab another case if you mess it up and the experience should be fun and rewarding. I'm going to be doing my QFR soon as well!
