Looking for blank PFU color key top set.
Hey reziak, have you considered ordering this from Japan with proxy?  The set itself is about $19 from Amazon and Rakuten.  Shipping from Japan is pretty expensive, but it can be worth it if you pick up some other things as well.  The HHKB keysets are cheaper than EK at around $50 each, and you can get other PFU accessories that EK doesn't carry.

Tenso is having a 50% off shipping special right now for Rakuten orders.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff for my HHKB, including this color key set. :)

Talk to me about the DSA Retro set - is it just TKL full set, or tenkeys too?

I'm certainly interested though - would you consider shipping outside CONUS?

yeah, i have absolutely zero idea why people refuse to ship out of states when the "customer" is clearly willing to pay extra for the international shipping, but w/e

Some people just don't want to assume the greater risk that something gets lost in the mail and having no way to resolve it.  While I've shipped internationally before and have had only a few problems, I can see why someone wouldn't want to do so.

There is always extra risk involved when shipping international for both the buyer and seller, some choose not to take the risk.

what risk exactly please? everyone keeps mentioning some risks, but no one seems to be able to state them clearly :)

i would be perfectly willing to take a risk as a buyer. bought a filco from the US through classifieds, didn't seem to be a problem :O

the way i see it, the seller has zero risks. sends it with a tracking number and done, what risks? :)

This really isn't the place to discuss this but there are a couple of obvious risks.  If I send something internationally and it gets lost by the recipient's local postal service, there's nothing I can do if the package was sent by USPS priority or something that only tracks the package until it leaves the US.  If the item gets damaged in transit, you can't even send it back to the person to get a refund without significant cost to yourself and the seller (see: The LZ-FE packaging fiasco).  Heck, if I send something via first class mail and the buyer says it didn't show up, I can't even prove I sent something because there's no tracking at all for those items.

Like I said, I buy and sell internationally all the time and largely have few problems.  But I can see why people wouldn't want to, and for that you shouldn't really criticize people.

i'm not criticizing anyone, i just don't understand the reasoning. the buyer takes the risk in my book. the way i see it, if the seller provides a proof that he sent the package, it's out of his hands and that's it. at least the way i see it.

The issue, I think, is that it's not actually out of his hands. You might be a great international buyer, but others might not be. They can file PayPal disputes, leave negative HeatWare, raise hell on this forum or elsewhere, etc. The risk of such a headache isn't worth it to many sellers.

I'm not quite sure. Kinda gauging interest and seeing what it's worth, haha. I've seen the Gigabyte version being sold used for $400. Happy to entertain offers, though!
