INPAD (a Taiwan distributor/partner) has Ducky Premier listed for 3090NTD for blue, brown, red and 3590NTD for green switches. No sign of whites yet, but I would imagine them to be the same price (or similar) to green.

Huh wow that is a such a steal.
I bet that's probably just a placeholder price though.

If it's a typist keyboard they should ditch the Reds for Clears.

Unless you type a lot, as a programmer, I find Red or Clear makes no differences. Some ppl might prefer Red to Clear. All are just personal pref

But using reds vs clears is a completely different experience.

To me, it's more like hype. Remember back a year ago when Red is rare, everybody wanted red and said it's the best. Then the same for clear and recently same for the green. To me, choose your switch as you see fit. Maybe BS or Alps

Ohh lawd
this looks beautiful, as well as the blue/grey premier one. Both are beautiful :p
i dont think ihave ever seen a white/green keycap set, would mix things up on your desktop..can't wait to see pricing

But they say"Function LED Color: Blue" which i'm pretty sure refers to the (caps/num/scroll lock) keys. this PBT is so thick how would you see it? backlighting?

i don't think that's white.  it's more cream color.

i really don't understand what that spec means, but you generally get some underglow.  it's my favorite LED effect.

I wonder why they can't do blue/white, blue/grey looks meh in my opinion.

Though they should really just sell the keycaps separately.

They're done some of the sets - there might be hope.

Ok so maybe I am missing something but other than Keycap colors -- you can buy this now can't you in the Pro series?

The premiere does dvork and colemark via dip switch.

does anyone actually use dvork or colemark over qwerty?

Perhaps I don't understand this question correctly. People certainly use Dvorak and Colemak instead of qwerty. Does that justify special dip switches? Maybe not, but it's a neat feature that probably wasn't too hard to add and will make some people quite happy.
i thought you could change the keyboard layout in most os's anyway. i'd be curious how many people on here use dvorak and colemark.

You can, but it's certainly useful to be able to do it on the keyboard itself… no fiddling with settings if you plug into a new computer.

I concur with this.  Dvorak is certainly already implemented in most if not all major OS's but I'm not sure on that wide of implementation of Colemak.  Plus if you work in a place where IT is on a power trip and doesn't allow users access to those settings this would give you access to those layouts without having to bribe/hack the system which could possibly get you fired.

Also, you can use your native layout in the bios/setup of your PC. This might seem trivial, but it was a major nuisance to set up my PC in QWERTY.
Also, if you need the extra characters in US International but want to keep an alternate layout, you can use US Intl with your hardware Dvorak/Colemak board (although this might only apply on Mac...I have a hackintosh, and I'm not sure how Windows software layouts work).

If you look at this image^ though you'll see that they list both the Premier DK9008 and Premier DK9087 which is consistent with how Ducky names its full-sized and tenkeyless keyboards respectively.

So pretty good bet I'd say.

A fitting successor for the G2 Pro PBT.

I just wish they'd offer the keycaps separately...

Thick keycaps:

Wish granted. Blue/Gray set. I'd expect the CCnG will be next :P

Sweet :)

Ducky are getting lots of things right.

Key caps set only provide Engraved and Non-Printed type.

The nordic CCnG set will be dye-sub and there will also be a blank option.

Quote from Ducky Nordic over at DT:

Guy: "I'd definitely buy a printed set for a reasonable price. Also open to other colors but that green doesn't appeal to me."

Ducky Nordic: "None are gonna be printed. It's gonna be dye sub."

this is one of those products that feels so well done that you buy one just to support the company, no matter how little you're going to use it.

Nice catch Zeal! :thumb:
________

I wonder why they can't do blue/white, blue/grey looks meh in my opinion.

Though they should really just sell the keycaps separately.

They will sell the keycaps separately as well. :)

Link already listed above :)

That's not the same thing, I wish they sell the thick dyesub one
I should have specified in my wish that they sold the dyesub ones separately  :))

Here goes...

I wish they'd offer the dyesub keycaps separately...

Agreed, TKL I'd be all over this.

The price on mechanicalkeyboards.com is $129, very good price indeed

https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?pg=33&l=product_list&m=1

Sweet  :p
Can't wait for the TKL edition to hit :)

Looks like this keyboard will be out sooner than I expected.
I thought this was going to be a spring/summer release.

 Do we know a TKL version will come out? In that case I'll definitely wait...

This looks really nice! Maybe a TKL is on the rise?

(Attachment Link)

We certainly hope TKL's are coming! No official word yet from Ducky, though...

Hi, this is my first post (I will introduce myself in the correct thread after this).
To the point, since this seems to be the main thread for this keyboard I post some news here, mainly for the Nordic/European crowd I believe: https://www.teraset.net/ducky.php#5
The ever so frustrating "Available soon" is gone, Ducky Premier will be available in May and the separate keycaps aswell. Hurray, right?

Sorry if this is well known around the forum but atleast the info gets to this thread too.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Doesn't hurt to know these things - I am sure someone is overjoyed at this information :)

The white and green is a popular combination.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
