hope it comes with a working RF switch
or you have the modded ones.

The NA model has RCA ports on it.  I'm assuming that's the model he ended up getting, so he shouldn't have much trouble connecting it to whatever TV he's using.  :)

^^ yep it even comes with RCA cables!! But the RF switches can be purchased as well.

I've actually got an extra RF switch if you're interested in rounding out the collection to include it.  Let me know if you want it.

lucky, my famicom just has the standard video out so need an RF switch.
and the SNES one doesn't work as obviously it doesn't fit.

haha yeah I know, nothing beats the experience of blowing in the cartridges and mashing on the square controllers! I grew up doing that daily :D

So turns out Tetris and Super Mario are still awesome. Now I've got to find an old TV to play duck hunt.

my neighbors just threw out 2 old 27ish (i think the size) crt's... where everyone picks up trash, like mining for gold, these tv's sat there for days until collection day, no one wanted them. i actually forgot how big crts were, i looked at it and thought "no human could carry this home"

also **** nes.
blowing on the cartridge. then
blowing in the machine.
then using qtips
then putting the game in, locking it down and "wiggling" it back and forth
then get back, punch the nes and all fonzie style it works!

to this day i punch machines when they fail... never have the same fonzie nes magic.
