I have a leopold 210tp, and I want to change my 5 key, when not num locked to be a down arrow. I don't know why in the world they put the down arrow at the 2, when its obviously more natural to do it at the 5.

Does anyone know if I can change it? I tried sharpkeys, but it doesn't register the non numlocked 5.

Thank you

I was wanting to do the same thing, but it doesn't register anything, so I'm thinking it's not possible (barring getting into the firmware).

Isn't that the numpad that registers only like the number row?  I thought there was one that works like that instead of a standard number pad.

wouldnt it be possible to write a custom driver for it instead of using the default hid driver?

I think a custom driver would work. The OS would load a different driver depending on the Vendor and Product IDs  that it reads from each USB device on startup.

It might also be possible to make a AutoHotkey script select on Vendor and Product ID but I don't know how to do that...

Precisely. Leopold have had issues where their numpads send scancodes belonging to the number row, not the numpad. This means that you can't enter alt-codes for special characters and some other weirdness.
