BNIB opened once to check contents, I think there's still tape on the plastic bag it comes inside of but I never took the GPU itself out of the box. Purchased mid January, never used because I'm still on my SLI 770.

It slides more than the HHKB does. It helps if you have a glass surface though, my table is wood but I have a large piece of glass that I took from a coffee table someone was throwing out and it helps everything on my desk grip harder. It still slides on glass still , but when I'm actually using it it doesn't seem like it moves at all.

I can't find the picture that shows the exact weight of the Brobot, but if you're worried about the switch accidentally activating from the weight of the key, don't worry-you should be fine.

I can't find the picture that shows the exact weight of the Brobot, but if you're worried about the switch accidentally activating from the weight of the key, don't worry-you should be fine.

I've tried Steel Bro on my Brown and Red switches, and functionally it works ok. No accidental activation, and it'll come back up afterwards. However, it's quite heavy so it thocks down and doesn't feel as responsive as regular caps. Placing it for infrequently used keys like Scroll Lock should be fine. It's a beautiful looking cap though.
