Hi!
« on: Tue, 28 January 2014, 09:33:25 »
I just registered. I'm a 20 year old living in the Midwest of the US. I recently got into mechanical keyboards due to my brother having a few old boards with MY switches as well as buckling springs and I think ALPs switches.  I have a Ducky Shine 3 with browns (I needed pink LEDs...) and I just purchased a Poker II but I don't expect it to be here for awhile. I realize my avatar (If I even managed set it up correctly!) might be taken the wrong way, but I don't do, ehm, "keyboard science". I'm (sort of?) an actual scientist. I spend 30+ hours a week in a lab playing with really expensive equipment, so I hope that makes me a scientist. Aside from keyboards, I like physics and coffee. That's pretty much me. Hope I didn't bore you. Unfortunately I have a pretty rough schedule today so I need to run off for the next 10+ hours  :(.

Welcome, domesticbark!

Curious to know which switches you got on your Poker 2 and how you like them. I've become a big fan of Trackpoints, and in the next year or so, they're supposed to come out with a Trackpoint-equipped Poker 3. I'll probably buy one and am trying to decide among MX blues, MX greens, and MX clears.

Also curious to know what kind of research you do.

 ;D ;D ;D
