Cherry Switch reversed on my Filco

Hey folks,
I removed some keycabs for the first time on my Filco and noticed that one of the switches (left Alt) is rotated by 180deg.  :eek:
Triggering the switch feels like all the other switches, so I guess it does not matter much, or does it?
Has that occurred before?

Usually it's for backlighting purposes or alignment. Cherry switches are all symmetrical horizontally (i.e. flipping them vertically does nothing), and you can flip keycaps also if you so desire.

Yes it is unimportant... but the reason it is done is because they use same PCB for all 3 main physical layout. ANSI, ISO and JIS have some different switch positions so some of switch is rotated so the traces and contacts don't collide.
