Minus the slightly odd layout the FC660C is one of my favorites. Leopold really builds boards well.

I much prefer the feel of the Leopold 45G to the Rf 87U variable. The keys _feel_ larger and tighter.

I've now got one at home and one in the office - my main 'boards.

I have never felt one, but I gather the HHKP may feel even better than the Leopold, but I need cursor keys.

I do agree my FC660C feels slightly better then my other stock RF's, but not by much. With that being said, you need to add rubber dampers on the sliders behind the switch housing. You'll reach a whole new level of Topre awesomeness.

If you could only buy use one of those lovely Topre keyboards, which would it be?

The Leopard FC660c or the RF 87u? I'm currently looking at buying my first Topre board and I would love some insight to be honest.

I started with the Realforce 87U with variable wight keys (45G center, 35G edges, 55G ESC) and like it. I then got a Leopold FC660C (45G uniform) and much prefer its feel...so I got a second one for the office.

See my typing video at the top of this thread.

If you want something super compact then the HHKB is probably the best option. A lot of people seem to think that the RF with 55g weighting feels the best among Topre keyboards http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=42825.msg1232923#msg1232923
