Is it really that relevant what your order ID is? How certain is it that the people who got in first of the first get the Bros? Also, when approx. will we know who got them?

The OP says that folks who who get the chance to purchase Bros will be notified in 7 days, and then have 7 days to pay before they forfeit their spot. I don't know how relevant order ID is, but if they are added in sequence, it seems it was 100+ orders in the first 5-10 minutes my order ID was 0990 at 22:09 GMT). Makes me wonder what the total number of alphas purchased in the first 24 hours will be, per the guessing contest Bunny mentioned pages back.

I just couldn't resist the fancy keys. I told myself I wasn't going to spend too much, but then suffered an incredible lack of willpower when faced with the custom keys for the already custom set.

Edit: this was also the first GB I've participated in, and the hype made me giddy.

I ordered the extra keys because I wanted to have flexibility with the full set. Sometimes it helps to have extra keys for each profile. I also picked up a 1800 kit.

iirc the tsangan kit was originally designed to make kits compatible with winkeyless keyboards from cherry corp (like G80-3000,...). As these have off-center capslock, the capslock in that kit should be offcenter.

maybe somebody can confirm that.

I had a chance to play the closed beta, it was really fun. There was some issues with the Microsoft servers on the first day and hopefully there won't be much server issues once it releases.

Lol maybe. I think a signature of CtrlAlt Store should be the inclusion of an additional, or custom, F5 key in their group buys to replace the ones people wear out refreshing their GB threads. Just kidding of course, but it would be humorous to those who experience(d) the hype.
