Here's a very interesting ergo keyboard concept .... I say add two columns of programmable keys on the sides, make it with cherry browns and I'll buy it.

Seems a bit small to me.  The AltGr key is no different to a standard key and is crammed close to other keys.  That would annoy me no end.  Also the Enter key is half off the home row. errr slap!

I did the 10 min survey.  I like the general idea, but I made it clear that they have to have black alps or brown cherry switches for me to buy it.

Also, I really think they should have the Ctrl key to the left of A, especially since there is no caps-lock key there.

Overall, if they listen to the surveys and make the keyboard with good switches, I may be willing to buy it.

Well... everything! It's almost a standard layout, so why not make it a *real* standard layout? I doubt that putting the keys in exact columns and slightly raising the d- and k-columns provides significant advantages. But it creates confusion when you switch to and from standard layout keyboards, especially for touch-typists. The only good thing is the missing CapsLock key. All IMHO of course

Thanks lowpoly, I see that that model is no longer being manufactured, lenovo is selling similar looking new ones, called simply Scrollpoint, doesn't look as good (shape-wise) to me (though there still seem to be plenty of Pro's for sale).

There is only one letter-sized key to the right of 'L' key. To support most european layouts, it would need two letter-sized keys to the right of the 'L' key.
The transposition of the Shift and Ctrl keys may also become a bit confusing, I think.

Well that might be the first easy access place for reds in the states. while I doubt they will be swamped with orders I have to wonder if there will be supply issues. it's quite sad that as many new cherry mx gaming boards that are appearing on the market that the first place this shows up is on a startup company's ergo keyboard.
