[IC] Sub-$150 2013 Nexus 7, 16gb
« on: Sun, 09 March 2014, 22:03:34 »
I have a source for the 2013 (newest) model Nexus 7. They are brand new from the manufacturer. Depending on the amount, I can get them, ship them, and warranty them for under $150. I am not sure what kind of interest this would have, but I would probably need at least 20 to make this happen. Let me know your thoughts!

I would cover return shipping (probably US only, but we could probably work something out) on any defective unit, and upon verification, return the purchase cost.

EDIT: This would be for 2 yrs. Again though, this is a brand new, non-defective unit, so I can't imagine that this will be an issue. They are actually warranted from the manufacturer as well.

Do you have any idea how much that might cost? I am located in Ohio, which is not far from the border, so I can't imagine it costs that much.

probably not too much. It depends on the weight, but shipping a $150 1.5 lbs box to canada costs $12

If that is the case, then shipping to Canada is certainly an option.

A search on google implies you might not be saving people as much as it sounds like at first glance, although a lot of places still ask north of $200 for that model.

Am I missing something? I don't follow phones very much since Nokia stopped making them (I liked the Symbian OS) and of course you might be a more reputable than some random website I've never dealt with -- but I don't know much about either you or they, is my point I guess.

Would this be an unlocked, GSM-capable phone I could attach to any carrier? I don't think I'm in a position to replace my phone yet but the missus occasionally talks about how certain friends wow her with their iPhones and I'd rather not go down that particular road.

The nexus 7 is a tablet not a phone.

The Nexus 7 is a tablet, correct. And the one you linked too was not the 2013 model. I could not find a 2013 Nexus 7 for under $200 looking on my own.

So is there anyone wanting to move on this? I could do a drop with less people, but it would not be as cheap.

I would only put up my money if you buy them first and have them on hand to show that you really do have them.  No offense, but you are new here.

It shouldn't be locked to Verizon, as it should be unlocked

I am relatively new here (I used to be a lurker, if it counts for anything.). I have put in an order for one for myself, and will have it in a week or two, and I would be more than willing to do a Google hangout to show it off if that puts peoples minds at ease.
