[FS] Filco M2 TKL/MX Black
« on: Mon, 24 March 2014, 13:56:38 »
M2 is gone...

Four days old Filco Majestouch 2 tenkeyless with MX Black key switches;
keyboard is in original box. Bought this keyboard on Saturday and used
it for two days. I opened the case and added shelf liner to quiet keyboard
pinging. This M2 is as new except for simple mod; and it works perfectly.

$100 includes (CONUS only) USPS Priority shipping;  payment via Paypal;
Please PM if you're interested.

Great deal, if only I was CONUS.  ^-^
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

I used a cleaner we had used in publishing to remove wax from mechanicals (page layouts prior to desktop publishing). The product is Bestine Solvent and Thinner; it's used for reducing rubber cement. Works great and will not harm plastic. I picked up my latest supply from an art supply store. Also, I used a credit-card edge to cleanly remove the adhesive-thinned sticker; the edge of the plastic card won't mare the plastic and makes for a nice clean removal.

Great, thanks for the tips.

Nice offer, but MX Brown switches don't work for me. The down force is a little to light for my heavy key strikes and I make accidental key strikes.

Plastic razor blades also work great for this. Thats how I removed mine and it came off nice and clean.
