Hmmm, I did not notice that the op is no longer active. I have a keycool 84 and a nice TeX alu case would awesome.
Let's hope somebody has good connections with TeX.

This is an interest check for 75% boards and not 87% boards (TKL)

yes, thats why i said "if this can be widden" but my inferior english skills made me missunderstood. should be "if this groupbuy can be widen to 87%".
Hope this helps

I'd be interested in a 75% case.

Does anyone know how to contact and/or organise this with TeX?
It looks like there is a genuine interest. The question is now how it can make happen.
I think we need to ask help.

I think it was already mentioned in this thread but the keycool 84 doesn't screw down in the case the PCB is just sandwiched between the top and bottom half, at least that is how mine is.

This does not mean that it cannot be done right?
It would be great if somebody from TeX would elaborate.

A sandwich design could still probably work with other 75% boards as well
No idea how stable it will be, but with "support rails" at the bottom it should be fine

I think the corners would allow screws to secure the top part. I can see on the pictures that the corners are angled.

Does anyone know somebody at TeX? I think we need to contact them and see whether they can make this happen.  :thumb:

Hey guys!

I contacted Justin with questions regarding potential price/color finishes/profile/KBT Race compatibility. Hopefully he gets back to me soon, please continue to express interest, but soon I'll have more info!

I would love to be a part of this GB if it happens. I've been wanting a case for my KBT Race 2.

Any update on this? Specifically KBT Race compatibility.
