Its one of mine.
I will be interested to see what this goes for.
Its a nice one so fingers crossed.
The normal M I had went for £70 something.

You can get a camera anytime. A model m mini that is in good shape, not so easy.

I know, but I'm currently camera-less (k800i excluded), and I like having a compact tucked into my pocket when I'm out and about. :)

Questions:

1) Why is this classed as having a UK layout when the @ has jumped into bed with the 2 key?

2) Why are there two |\ keys? :confused:

I can't answer questions 1 or 2 but being camera-less?
Cameras can be had easily but this particular keyboard is somewhat rare? right?
I would say punt on the camera. Its not like you won't be able to get one next month or so. But once this keyboard sells, there may not be another one to be had for who knows how long and what shape it will be in.

Of  course it will really come down to how bad you want a model m mini.

1. The UK or ISO layout is more to do with the vertical enter and the extra key you noticed with the \ on it. It is an odd one and I think is an early US IBM which would have been modded by Unicomp. Its hard to confirm exactly the origins of this board.

2. On a standard UK board because the enter is vertical \ moves in betwene z and left shift. Our left shift is smaller too. Then in the space that is left there is a key which on most keyboards has # and ~ on it.
However on both of my space savers it is another \.

I hope this explains things a little more.
