Clicking cherry stabilizers, really loud. Help!
« on: Sat, 05 April 2014, 16:25:48 »
I have a corsair k70 and the stabilizer on the right is making a loud clicking noise while the one on the left is fine. Has anybody else had this problem? and if so how did you fix it? It is to loud for me and I cant stand it at all. Btw switches are cherry MX browns and the stabilizers are cherry's.

here is a video of it

EDIT: oops, how'd that show up there?
Keyboards are the only thing keeping me from consuming human flesh.

You can fix this by lubing the stabilizers. Ripster has a guide here. I use this stuff or Krytox GPL 205 grease mixed with a small amount of Krytox GPL 103 oil, probably a 70/30 or 80/20 mix.
