Searching for teal keycaps
« on: Tue, 22 April 2014, 12:29:55 »
Hi all,

I was just wondering if a teal keycap-set has been done? It is the color of the year, and I believe that it would look good on a grey aluminium case.

Looked around for a bit, but couldn't find any, the closest I came was the Triumph Adler set, but is it indeed teal or is it blue?

Thanks

That particular set is that color because it is faded, the original color was blue.

The soulfree bluegreen set is sometimes known as a teal set! Kind of hard to find these days, but they do pop up in the classifieds now and again.

It looks really, really nice! But does Chaosstep have the same set. It looks really dark on his pictures?

Yep, they are the same. It's just terrible lighting.

Ok, thank you for helping me  :)

I'll take of my hat and ask chaosstep. If he declines I can put up a WTB in the classifieds when I get the post count. Fingers crossed.

Megaxpop also has the bluegreen set for sale: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=46139.0

Really unusual to see 2 available. There are only 20 sets in existence.

Was gonna suggest the Soulfree set too. Got a couple modifiers from that set in my crapbags, and the teal looks really nice.

It is nice. It reminds me of the old 80s/90s TCBY storefronts...  :p
