Favorite Dorito Flavor?
« on: Wed, 07 May 2014, 19:05:59 »
I'm eating taco flavored doritos right now. One of my favorite flavors so far. What others should I try?

Blazin' Buffalo and Ranch.

First, it was Nacho Cheese/Nacho Cheesier. Then, when Spicy Nacho first came out, I feel in love all over again. And when BBnR came out, I was in heaven. Doritos are like my number one food of all time ever. Now I'm sad that they seem to be discontinued...

I like the classic ones.

But these delicacies are even available in my Wal-Mart now:

"However, even though I was born in the Mesozoic, I do know what anyone who wants to reach out to young people should say: Billionaires took your money. They took your chance to buy a home. They took your chance at a good education. They stole your opportunities. Billionaires took the things you want in life. If you really want those things, you have to take them back.
That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.
Late-stage capitalism is a wealth-concentration engine, focused on vacuuming up every dollar and putting it in as few hands as possible. Republicans are helping that vacuum suck.
How does a tiny fraction of the population get away with this? They do it by dividing the other 99% of Americans against themselves."

The Quest(Mountain Dew) flavor Doritos were actually good. Try and nab a bag of the Mountain Dew Cheetos if you can, they taste similar. Sounds gross, but somehow the flavor profile works very well. Would recommend  :thumb:

Wish more of these spicy ones were available in Australia.

Even Burn is hard to find these days.

Salsa Rio Doritos were my absolute favorite potato chip, period. They discontinued them, sadly.  2nd favorite is Cool Ranch.  However, I can't eat any Doritos anymore as I discovered I'm allergic to man-made food coloring (Red 40, Yellow 5/6, Blue1/2).  Red 40 would give me optical migraines about 10 times a year. Yellow 5 and 6 give me abdominal pain. Took them out of my diet and everything was solved.

i bought some nacho cheese doritos thinking they were the same as the bar doritos you get with "nachos" here (literally seasoned doritos and salsa, thats it).
that was not the case. i remember now that i didn't like nacho cheese doritos.
