I got a shipping number on Dec 21st on PayPal. It's not in Google spreadsheep, so I guess that one is not as updated.

Do note that the Chinese New Year is coming up. Best that everything is sent out before then.

Also I see that there have been some newbies who want to buy. Exactly as I predicted. These people always pop up after the GB is done. As promised when I'm playing the Seller of Last Resort, you can take my stuff and sell to them if you don't have extra stock.

I'm going to take this Buyer/Seller of Last Resort concept and apply it to Oozero's keycaps GB also. Am planning to budget some money, then wait until the last day. I'll buy a number of keycaps based on helping people meet a cheaper MOQ. After the GB I'll offer the keycaps for sale at cost so people who missed out can still get them.

There's absolutley no way in hell saving <$5 on keycaps is worth waiting 8+ months for them, even massdrop has run 2 rounds of these exact caps for only $2 more in the past couple months. I dont even feel confident that ill ever get the keycaps I ordered here.. Is it possible at this point to just get a refund or do a chargeback so I can buy keycaps elsewhere?

Also, since this is my first group buy, can I ask what motivates you guys to wait 8-12 months for something in order to save like 3 or 4 dollars? I'm having a really hard time understanding how this appeals to anyone...

Um.... we weren't motivated to wait 8-12 months for this. We were supposed to get them in October/November.

And this was the only way to get the extra keys included in the add-on packs (which weren't available on MD).

No one expected the wait to be so long but **** happens. Nothing we can do about it. All we can do is hope Harry gets the rest of the orders shipped out as soon as possible.

well, MD is a team while he's alone on this whole thing. And MD is committed since it's their job, and harry has real life issues to deal with. Like what sygaldry said, most of us that orders this are in for the WKL kits that MD don't offer.

You've been here six months longer than me.

I've just participated in my first group buy, but I read a bunch of GB threads which has led me to expect a bunch of logistical problems to practically always arise and cause huge delays. They are clearly for people who can afford to wait. The buy that I managed to join has now been running over 12 months.

You don't join GBs to save five dollars, you join them to get something that you can't get anywhere else.

For what it's worth, I've got a standing offer to ghostofharry to do a couple of post office runs (we're in the same city) but for now I think he's going to handle it himself rather than get a new and unknown party involved in what's probably a complicated enough process.

It's not about the 4$ (actually it's 8$ which is like 40% cheaper than Massdrop), it's about the keys that were only available in this GB (ISO support, Tsangan Kit etc.).

Concerning the waiting time I don't care because I have too many keysets anyway. It's not like one of my boards has to be naked until I get these keys
