If I'm totally honest, at this point I'm hesitant to trade for a lone toxic. My ideal trade would be for both a Toxic and an Ooze since I absolutely adore the pair together. My concern is that it might be more difficult going forward finding someone to trade a lone topre Ooze for an MX. If I don't have any offers for the pair in the next few weeks and you would still like to trade at that point I would definitely be open to it. I appreciate the offer though

Bump. I could really use a black PCB phantom sometime soon. I'm getting a prototype of a stainless steel plate case made soon that will have an exposed PCB and I think a black phantom will end up looking much nicer than a white one. If it came down to it, I would buy a white one and pay to ship it to you in addition to paying for you to ship the black one to me.

I'm willing to bend on the unused requirement as long as you could show the PCB is exceptionally clean; no burnt traces, discoloration of the solder mask, scratches, etc

Ideally I would like to find the Rev 2 black PCB that has the bold key lettering and doesn't have the unnecessary 4 extra holes per switch. This one:

Added my JD40 and ErgoDox PCBs.

It makes me really sad to sell the JD40, its a phenomenal board but I just cant adjust to anything less than TKL. I've got an imgur album with a bunch of pictures from the build process here. Do note though, that after some of these pictures were taken, I went through and cleaned up some of the soldering and wires on and around the Teensy so what you will receive will look even cleaner and nicer. I also swapped out the Cherry plate stab for a Costar plate stab since I could never get the Cherry stab to feel like anything other than garbage.

I'm selling the ErgoDox PCBs for basically the same reason, I've come to realize I'm really only interested in TKL boards.

Hello strict,

If you can get the stainless steel wire 1.2mm, you DIY a 7.x Costar wire.
Here is what I tested on while ago when I was waiting for a case GB.
I tested on stainless steel wire 1.0mm, the tools that I used are :
+ a pair long nose pliers to straighten the wire by twisting the two ends.
+ a flat nose pliers to bend the corner, it is very effective in this case.
+ a heavy duty cutting pliers to cut the stainless steel wire

* the middle is the DIY 7x Costar wire. It is imperfect but I believe we can tune it up depending on how picky we are. Note that the costing for doing this is very cheap (5m of 1.2mm stainless steel wire is only about 0.25 USD)

Appreciate the info but I was really hoping someone out there had a spare they wouldn't mind parting with.

I had definitely considered making one after watching Listers tutorial but the only wire I can find locally is sold in 50ft spools and costs about $10. I would also have to get wire cutters that can handle that gauge ($10+) as well as a wire bender ($20). All told, I estimated my costs would be close to or above $40 just to get one stab wire for a layout I've never tried before (ANSI 150). I still may go this route if no one has a ready-to-go wire for sale and just make a whole bunch to sell to recuperate my investment.

If you are going to do the IC and GB for Costar 7x, I would like to share the specification that I did for my prototype that I mentioned before.

Type of material: Stainless steel 304 wire
Size: 16 AWG (1.29mm)

Design

Test prototype on 16AWG stainless steel wire

Expected implementation problems:
+ 16 AWG Stainless steel 304 is very hard, as hard as hardened wire (music wire), so I don't think the E/Z Bender Wire Forming Tool (http://shop.dubro.com/p/e-z-bender-wire-forming-tool) can bend it.
+ It seems Costar manufacturer has CNC bending machine, so if we are going to bend the wire manually, the combination pliers, heavy nose pliers, heavy vise should be used.
+ The Z-bend in the middle is the hardest part.
+ Each Costar 7x wire will need at least 190mm material.

There are much clearer hi-res photos of the designs for everything except plates A and B in my group buy thread. I think the design of plate A is the design you're used to seeing. I actually prefer jdcarpes design without the extra lip on the side because it's got less corners to get messed up during cutting, switch stability is virtually identical, and I think it looks cleaner/nicer.

Plate E is a pure 7BIT plate. Plate B is the only hybrid plate. Plates C and D are just regular 125 and 150 plates.

I do want one of these plates as I've been wanting to build this layout for a while. There's one mint ANSI 150 left and two usable ones with cosmetic defects. These 150 plates will work in most TKL cases but these are the most compatible with Filco. It will work with CoolerMaster cases and a few others with some slight modifications.

I know it's a really long shot but if anyone had a box for an SE070S (87USW) keyboard I would do just about anything to buy it.
