Are different cherry mx switches priced differently?

Are different cherry mx switches priced differently?
Or are all cherry mx switches the same price?
Would it make sense for one cherry mx switch to be more expensive than another?

No reason anyone should be anymore or less than another. Used switches should be cheaper than new ones.

If you look at mechanicalkeyboards.com all of the switches they have regular amounts of stock for are priced the same.

The only switch I've seen that is more expensive is the mxlock but you probably aren't concerned with that one anyway.

Only reason MX Clears are more expensive is because they used to be rare, so most commonly you have to buy them new.  Vs Reds/Black/Blues/Browns can be sourced from older boards.  MX Black being the most common.

Well when the RGB's hit the market they will be priced higher, but that's to be expected.

7bit  buys new switches directly from Cherry in Germany and sells them. He sells each type for the same price, with the exception of MX Lock which costs almost twice as much.

Depends on availability. For example, reds, browns, clears, whites, greens, grays and others have been scarce at different points in time. You'd have to pay premium for them at Massdrop, qtan's store and elsewhere (limited editions like filco with reds, anyone?). Besides, #vintage switches are sometimes worth more than regular/modern ones (e.g. nixdorf blacks).
