Removing switch top on Ducky Shine 3?

I've tried to remove the switch tops on my Ducky Shine 3 but to no avail. I don't know if its because I suck or if it's even possible at all. Has anyone been able to remove the switch tops on their DS3?

Unless you desolder it and pop it out, you can't remove the switch tops of a board that has LEDs in the switches and that has a plate without specially designed plate cutouts.

Thanks! Well that's a disappointment. I was hoping to turn my Ducky it into like a FrankenDucky or something. Oh well.
