Yeah, I just don't see how they can be effective without anyone on the ground who knows what the **** they are doing. You could have millions of pounds of ordnance dropped on a city, but if the people directing the fire don't give a **** then it's not going to be effective.

It does kind of make me laugh that Russia only has one aircraft carrier...

Which isn't even an aircraft carrier. It's a heavy aircraft carrying cruiser!

I mean, it is a carrier, but something named 'an aircraft carrier' cannot go through Bosphorus, so the USSR had to name it differently.
