Thanks for the replies, guys. Well I paid the invoice and here's hoping it all goes smoothly :)

I'm now waiting for items from 7 GB's.....!

Same.
I'm hoping that will keep me satisfied for a while.
That X-Wing set looks tempting though...

Ah boy, I thought this money had been taken out already.

Well, there goes my backup money for this month.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I think it has been taken out already. In fact, the reason the GB ended so abruptly was that PayPal will hold funds for exactly 30 days and no more.

However, I am thankfully not interacting with PayPal on this one, so YMMV.

Yeah, I just got a buzz on my phone saying the money was taken out, so no invoice, just money gone.

Smart man here, let someone else cope with them  :thumb: .  I'm not fussed about the money disappearing from my account 2 days ago because I know the exact amount went to Melissa's Company, hence all is good.

Have of course received an invoice confirming the take out, so no dubious surprises for me in this instance.  Very happy how quick everything went with the Group Order and payment, now comes the waiting for the caps to be produced and being shipped.

The original hold was released before the new invoice was received. At least that's how it was for me. Everything was clear and above board.

So this is my first GB. (750 posts, a year on the forums, I know it's been too long!) How long do these things take to ship out?

Thank you for making yet another group buy a success!! We are in the process of sorting out payments and readying the work orders for production on the Nuclear Group Buy. Right now production is extremely busy and we are hoping to have this group buy complete and ready to ship in 6 weeks (around the 26th of October). If they are done sooner we will definitely ship sooner! You won't hear any further updates from me on this group buy until we start shipping - at that time you will see tracking numbers from stamps.com.

As a side note, while we didn't reach our target of 100 sets for donating to Geek Hack, we are still going to go ahead and send the donation in - so thank you for helping make this possible!!

This just showed up in my inbox. It's impressive that they're still donating to GH even though we where 3% shy of the goal.

Since the BULK of orders happened via Geekhack they (SP) should always donate to this place since WE are the ones buying a large volume of their PMK styled Caps  :thumb: .

Far better to make the donation here because Mkawa needs it to keep this place running, and that's fair in anyone's language  8) .  So far Signature Plastics has come to the party and done great things for us in the key-cap addiction stakes, plus made themselves extremely busy when the bulk of US manufacturing has taken a dive (just like here in Convict Town).

So... Now we wait 4-6 weeks. Which should mean anywhere from October 8th to October 22nd?

More like 6 to 8 weeks if the last few GBs are any indication.  SP just took a massive order for Granite R2 and it's probably ahead of us in the production schedule.  Midnight DCS took over 2 months from start to delivery, and it was a comparatively small run.  Prepare for November and hope for earlier.

Keycaps in a bag with no board to put them on sucks pretty hard though.

Is there any possibility of getting 1.5u relegendables as well? That would be absolutely awesome for an ErgoDox.

Maybe someone has received some in an SP crapbag? I'd love to see what these look like before ordering.

I'm on the fence if I want to go for something that's neat and color accurate or if I want to go really old school and go for labels that were typed with a typewriter on index card stock and hand-cut crookedly with scissors.

So, one thing. Am I right in thinking these (once assembled) share the exact same physical dimensions as the normal SA keycaps?

You are correct!

I'd be interested in knowing how the top part covers the bottom part of the relegendable.

On some images the top part only covers a little of the bottom part, but others show the top covering the whole bottom cap.

The latter looks very nice, while the only partial cover versions are a bit meh.

Anyone know what type this is?

Pictures attached.  Full top cover is clear.  This one has a gray base.  2x is just longer.

Yeah, I'll have to get these.  :thumb:
If only the 2.0x and orange caps were more popular we'd get decent prices. $6 is a steep for a single cap...

I was right! Those look great! I may have to add a few to my order....
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.
