Still haven't got anything =/ Although I guess it might take them longer to process INTL orders? IDK.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I've gotten other peoples shipping notices with other vendors and stamps.com before. But maybe you just ordered so much stuff it wouldn't fit in one box :o

My tracking shows mine due for delivery on Friday.  8)

Has anyone gotten the caps yet?

I though my caps where scheduled to show up today, but on closer inspection it looks like the tracking number is actually for someone who lives in some town called Kent in Washington state. So, whoever that is should be receiving their caps today.  :( Post pics for us, mysterious groupbuy participant.

Kent, WA is the USPS sorting facility for that area.  It's just the next major hub out of Custer, which is where SP is based.  Are you sure it shows Kent as the destination?

Mine also says delivery for today, but it's in Kent, WA. I think it's just held up at a sorting facility or something.  Is there a way to check that I have the right tracking number from Stamps.com? I don't see anywhere where it says the city or address it's shipping to.

I currently have 4 different deliveries from USPS that I'm waiting on, from all over the country, and ALL of them are way behind their estimated delivery dates, and have been sitting in one place for days.  It's not even the holiday season yet, and USPS is a mess!

USPS is very bad about updating its web tracking and it's only going to get worse as the holiday grows closer.

I've seen an item not show delivered until 48 hours AFTER it was actually delivered.

Oh. Well, it doesn't actually show a destination address like UPS does. It just says that it's in Kent WA, that it's left the facility and is out for delivery today. I just took that to mean it was being delivered to someone in Kent. Heh.

Mine says "Out for Delivery" now.  My local post office are lazy and sometimes don't actually attempt delivery, they just leave the pink slip, but it's a good sign for people waiting for their packages.

BTW, does anybody know how large the package is that they ship (I have one full set & the orange keys)?  Wondering if it will fit in my apartment-size mailbox.

Well, I couldn't post my keyboard first, so I won't duplicate that effort.

But...

To those who have waited for these keycaps since Matt3o and I proposed them more than a year ago, I promised they'd be made, and here they are.

To those who helped along the way, especially SP, Matt3o, and the folks in the IC and GH-122 threads, thank you very much for helping this happen.

And for everyone who bought a set or sets so they all made MOQ, thank you very much!

Now then, where is a keycap puller?  I think the orange one from Techkeys is the right one for this job.

p.s.  Elrick?  Happy birthday and Merry Christmas, mate!  I'm having a couple of beers tonight in your honor.

p.p.s.  Then I am gonna play some retro games with retro keycaps.

p.p.p.s.  Okay, here is a shot of just the base kit:

Got my set, typing on it now...  I iz a happy camper.  It's everything I'd hoped for, and more; the concerns I had vis-a-viz the all one profile are gone, it's an uber-smooth typing experience!

By the way, props to SP for the nifty packaging; everything arrived in beautiful shape, and there's even a cool box to store the extra caps!

Huge thanks to Matt3o and samwisekoi for bringing this set back to life!

I just put this set on my Poker II: http://imgur.com/a/pfpW6?#4 (I'm having trouble adding images to posts so here's an Imgur link)

As this is my first SA row-3 set, the profile feels convex even though it's flat since I'm used to the concave profile of DCS.

One thing I noticed was that keycaps tended to get stuck when bottoming out if the LEDs were not sitting flush with the switches. Pushing the LEDs closer to the switch alleviated this problem.

And I'm kicking myself for not buying an ISO kit. Anyone who wants to sell one, PM me.

I have reported the FJ problem, and will check my Dvorak set tomorrow.  Also, I almost certainly have an extra ISO set.

For once, I kind of wish this was a beige board. No doubt this will pass...

No, I think you are correct.  This set needs good old Beige plastic.  I may try some Plasti-Dip on a case.

Rumour has it there may be extras for sale.

Those rumors should include the numbers "2015".  Also the word "sculpted".  :D

---

I have these on my Ducky with Greens, and the keycaps feel great, and certainly change the feel of the switches, but I am not sure this is the right switch for these 'caps.  A very solid, almost typewriter sound and feel to this combo.  It is a good feeling, but seems slower than my Imsto PBT on the same keyboard.

Who is using which switches with these keycaps?  Also, we need to get someone to try them on a Novatouch.  I'd say mkawa, but I suspect he wouldn't send them back...

Someone has tried them with clears yet? and to be specific with ergo-clears in the range of ~[45,55]? Yeah, that is my flavor of "ergo".

Also I'd like to get some feedback on the feeling of row-3-only vs. sculpted profiles.

If I'd find some extras available, great, if not I will get other SA set that were available, but I am not sure if I should get an sculpted or a flat profile.

It is known that each SA key weights ~1.8 gr, while any other profile is ~1 gr, thus the spring module will make the typing to feel different with SA, than with any other type of key, also the linear, and non-linears would feel different, but maybe such difference could be hard to notice while typing though.

Not an issue, but I misread when I ordered the blank green 1x caps - didn't notice they were deep dish and not normal profile.

Also, we need to get someone to try them on a Novatouch.

I'm going to do this in a few minutes.  :P

Well this feels really nice.  It's up there with GMK in terms of feels on the Novatouch.   :thumb:

(sorry for huge photos, but I wanted to show it off in all its glory :P )

Apologies in advance for the potato quality, and for putting this set on a 60%  :-[ but I'm too excited not to share! I have a custom aluminum case in the works, and I think I'll make a nice cable to go with the orange accents. Great work on the set guys! More photos forthcoming once I get this properly in  order.

Does anyone have a Vault 13 along with their Nuclear Data. I am curious how they jive together, and as to where someone would place theirs. Believe me, I bow to the awe inspiring coolness of the Nuclear Data GB, but I am eager to see what the presence of the Vault Dweller does to the overall landscape of keycaps.

They jive well with clear switches. They're even heavier then the Cherry doubleshots I took off, so the switches feel easier to press. I can't imagine these SA caps on a brown board, the springs might not rebound. :p

Saddly, no. I am not the Chosen One.

Please let me know if there are any other issues.

It looks like they forgot that the orange arrow keys in the Radioactive Kit were supposed to be deep-dish.

Not an issue, but I misread when I ordered the blank green 1x caps - didn't notice they were deep dish and not normal profile.

No, that isn't correct.  I'll check on that tomorrow as well.

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

Got my order today. This is excellent. Once I'm done sorting through all the keys, I'll put it on my ErgoDox, and try to post some photos.

One thing I noticed, the printed minus key in the numpad doesn't match the size/line thickness of the rest of the keys. If I see anything else, I'll update this post.

Looks like my Dvorak kit has a deep dish F & G keys, and not a regular profile F & J key.

And I'm kicking myself for not buying an ISO kit. Anyone who wants to sell one, PM me.

I have reported the FJ problem, and will check my Dvorak set tomorrow.  Also, I almost certainly have an extra ISO set.

IIRC, the original for the Dvorak kit in the first post had G instead of J in the kit, but you corrected it in the first post and on SP's site.

There were 2 different 1x green blanks, one of them was deep dish and the other was normal profile.

Here's my order. The 4 green blank keys on the right side are deep dish; the 20 on the left are normal profile.

And on my classic case ErgoDox with Clears.
