LED Mod to KBTalking Oni
« on: Thu, 14 August 2014, 09:49:48 »
Hey guys,

I want to add LEDs to the Oni from KBTalking. I've tried soldering in one LED but it didn't light up (I've checked for positive and negatives). Can someone point in the right direction to get the LED to work?

Thanks!

The LED is possibly missing its current-limiting resistor. Can you provide pictures?

It's also possible that it, like the poker X has holes for LEDs but no wiring.

Another possibility is that it's expecting two LEDs in series (TG3 BL82 style), and will only work when you've added a second.

Hmm I'm going to work on it tomorrow. I'll try adding a second LED. If that doesn't work then I'll add some pictures here. It's like 4.30am in Aus..
