He says it's "untested" and listing is for parts/repair. would be easily fixable I'm sure.

I'm guessing they tried it with a cheap adapter and it didn't work. I can't believe a business like that couldn't be bothered to test it (pretty much as dorkvader is suggesting).

'cause it's such a good deal.

I would have liked to get one just to photograph the hand-wired internals (there aren't enough "good" photos to my liking), then resell at cost.
