It should be working.  Even with nearly $13 shipping for me, it's a fantastic deal and has some nice T-Alps.  Could be a fun project board or case.

Just got it in the mail. This thing is awesome. My only complaint is that part of the switch under backspace doesn't seem to be held in by anything, the stem and switch top slide right out if I pull up on the cap. Dunno if that will affect function.

Can't wait to get this thing cleaned up and working  :D

how are you liking the locking capslock?

You can direct wire like lowpoly or I think TMK_firmware has a converter module for this so you can keep it all original if you want.

It's a cool novelty, but I was planning on making caps lock my ctrl key, so I'm probably gonna try to get another board on the cheap to get a replacement switch for that and my backspace (unless someone on here has some spare switches they don't need).

These aren't conventional Alps switches, as in later models like AEK or AEK2, are they?

The IBM "pingmaster" keyboards came with green tee-mount switches, so you can probably get some out of one of those pretty cheap.
