Help: Find 02D keymapper software
« on: Sat, 06 September 2014, 17:34:07 »
Edit: I'm looking for someone who has an earlier version of 02d_keymapper software

The current version 1.5.3333 has a bug, and I heard the older versions worked, but I can't find a download link online.
If anyone can help me find the link or can email me the app, let me know!

Thanks!

I have 1 or 2 of the old versions. let me up them somewhere.

You can also find them on kbdlab.kr

edit: I notice that 1.5.333 is the current version on duck0113's site. Easy way out not happeninbg. I'll actually up mine somewhere now :P

edit: I have the following (note some are for the RGB mod)
1.3.240 (this one was on duck0113's site I think)
1.3.244
1.4.288
1.4.306RGB

edit: attached one of them to this post. Let me know if you need another version.

The version you uploaded dosnet work either, I can't seem to program anything to be arrow keys.

I have a duck mini v1.5 that i'm trying to program, and half the keys I'm trying to program don't act like they are supposed to via the mapping software ( capslock always on and forever repeating, can't assign a key to be a Fn key, lots of other issues )

I think you may be having trouble with the KB itself.

I will give that firmware another shot just to make sure, but I have a lightsaver.

edit: it says its for duck mini 1.7, not sure how old a version you'd need for duck mini 1.5

ah, well yeah. I just bought the pcb, and it was new, but it seems that a thingy ( don't know what its called, little black box that each switch has on the back of the board ) wasn't soldered properly, so I had to solder in a hard wire around it to make the Fn key ( short right shift layout ) work, so I got that.

And basically I got it all figured out except that when the Caps lock is on, the LED blinks, and when its off, it blinks. ( when using the duck mini v1.X custom layout )

when using the duck mini v1.7 layout, the led works as it should, but the caps lock key won't release, it constantly thinks its being held down.

if the diodes were soldered backwards, then you will have other problems.

hm.... I don't really know enough about electrical componets to tell if its backwards or not on the caps lock,

But basically, when I use the custom firmware, it works, when i use the preset firmware, it does not work.

so I don't think its a hardware issue, could just be a "featrue" with the blinking caps lock light.

There should be a "line" on the diode closer to one side. Line should be closer to the square pad on PCB.

or just take a picture. Does sound like it's a firmware thing though.

So the blinking light is most likely a feature. it lets you know what "layer" you're on. I forget how to turn it off but I find it useful. On the lightsaver the blinky light is the top right corner.

fixed the blinking light thing, had to make a "C/M" key in the function layer, then type in a command to turn off the blinky caps, lock, now it just works like a normal caps lock led, either on or off.

Perfect!
