This is such a sexy and well thought out set. It saddens me that it seems to have stalled halfway there. I hope it hits the MOQ. Hopefully someone like Techkeys steps up and buys a handful of sets to help it hit MOQ.

Probably not. The only way that would happen is if the Tsangan hits MOQ and they have spares. No biggie though, the rest of the set still looks great.

There are way too many keys in the Tsangan kit. AFAIK, no layout requires two 1.75x shifts, there are already two 1.25x symbol keys in the mods kit and very few people have HHKB layout cherry compatible boards, so the HHKB keys should be in a separate kit with lower MOQ.

For a Tsangan we only need two 1.5x Alt, two 1.5x Ctrl, one 1.75x shift, one 7x spacebar, two 1x symbol keys and one 1.5x Caps. That's it.

The 1.25x Caps and 1.75x Ctrl should be in the mods kit.

The HHKB specific keys should be in a separate kit (Delete, 1xAlts and Fn).

I agree that the Tsangan is a bit pricey, but understand why it is because it's a combination of kits for someone not after an HHKB layout. However, for someone like me who IS wanting an HHKB layout, I like that I only have to buy one kit -- which I just did.

Already posted in that thread. I'll post again if we don't meet MOQ in the next few days. I think people would even be interested in the modifiers alone because they allow the user to use any DCS alphas with their SmallFry keyboard.

Well, if no-one orders the pad and tsangan out of fear it won't tip, well, it won't..

If you order it and it actually won't tip you will not be charged. That said, I'm surprised the pad numbers are so low, this set looks great on a full-size board !

Okay, I very well might order a normal set of mods and the alphas if the smallfry doesn't tip. This is the first SP keycap set I really like out of all of them I have seen so far. I just don't know what I would put it on if I couldn't put it on my JD40 since all my other keyboards have permanent keycap sets on them.

Come on people, I guarantee there have been more than 50 smallfry keyboards sold, is everyone going to use blank dsa keycaps? :/

Is there any way SP would agree to lower the MOQ even more for an increased price if everyone was cool with that? Or is this the absolute minimum they will even consider?

Thanks for the order. If we don't meet MOQ, I'm sure those who are still interested will have the opportunity to buy Smallfry mods if the kit doesn't meet moq.

If the 40% doesn't tip is there going to be an opportunity to flip up to the hhkb modifiers and are they a match?

If vote splitting is the thing that keeps it from tipping this might be decent compromise.

I find myself entirely indecisive on 40 vs 60% layouts and I'd be just as happy to move back and forth.

SP needs a real camera setup. The setup they use doesn't accurately reflect the color of things.

Mine came with a 1 short shift key. I contacted Melissa over at SP and they sent me a proper one with no issue. I didn't pay for the shipping either. They are great.

That would be up to numiru and SP. This set wasn't very popular so I doubt it would run agian.

The color scheme would be different though since you can't have light legends on a dark keycap with PBT (SP doesn't doubleshoot PBT).

I have too many keysets coming my way this year. If anyone wants a TKL set shoot me a PM with an offer.
