I got my SS gift!

Here are some pictures of the loot.

Not pictured are some root beer barrels that my 6yo immediately tore into. I've got the spacebar on my HHKB now and it is awesome. And yes, it is flipped, so suck it all you haters. I'll try to get some more pictures of everything on the board, and better pictures of all the caps in general. My camera ran out of battery after that last shot and I know I didn't do them justice.

Tracking shows it was delivered on 12/24, so I assume it's one of those two things, but most likely at the post.

Soooo...I guess I am forever on the naughty list since this is the second year in a row I sort of got screwed. Buuutttt, I always end up getting spoiled. Nubbs informed me that someone sent me something and that a few others put something else together and he's also sending me something. $:-\$ Waayyyy too much stuff. I really appreciate it but...damn. You guys are far too kind. With that being said, I received these gifts a week or so ago but I either wasn't home or didn't have time to even take quick potato pics. Since I'm flying out again tonight I figure I should throw these up while I have the chance.

Thank you so much, Inanis. I already told you on Skype but I absolutely love everything. I haven't gotten into pens yet but that was on my to-do list thanks to Geekhack. This is a great introduction. The hand warmers are also super useful and I can already imagine the hours of use I will get out of them while I'm outdoors trying to kill myself by jumping off of things or climbing up things.

The handmade wine holder is lovely, as well. I love these types of simple and minimal wine racks. I still haven't restocked on any bottles but that's definitely even more of a priority now. Last but not least, Boba Fett print is awesome. Empire for life. Boba Fett numba one. Pew pew lasers.

Be careful when boiling the hotsy!

Not sure what instructions they're giving now but make sure they don't touch the bottom of the pot when boiling them =O

Yea they're super useful but if you let it sit on the bottom of the pot then air gets in (at least this is the part where I assume that air got in).
After a while the air pocket in it gets bigger =(

Glissant was kind enough to send me two band shirts from Kvelertak. They're this sick band outta Norway and only do tunes in Norwegian

Definitely! We had some fun with it in mid-December before the weather turned, looking forward to getting out there again in the spring. I posted some videos of our first and second flight attempts earlier in the thread.

After my secret santa saw my post about my doge shirt not fitting, he reached out to me and generously offered to send me another gift

And...this is what I got. A Varmilo B87MR! Took a quick picture, hopefully I get something more artsy later tonight.

I can't get out of bed to take photos (thanks surgery) but I received the last of my SS gift(s). All I can say is...damn. Complete collection of Calvin & Hobbes in a box set. It's beautiful. I absolutely love it. I know a lot of different people chipped in and I can't thank you all enough. For personal reasons, Calvin & Hobbes holds a real special place in my heart. It got me through some tough times as a kid. Having the entire collection now is heart warming, especially since I lost half of my original strips when I moved.

Thank you guys and gals so much. You all rock.
