Another n00b
« on: Tue, 14 October 2014, 16:50:38 »
Hi about to order my first mech when i get paid, (poker 2 w/ browns) but am so completely addicted already, my wife is already sick of my showing her bro caps with the enthusiasm of a child on the 24th of December. TBH was avoiding making an account as i know ill wont be able to leave, but alas the latest bro cap lottery has forced my hand... i regret nothing! so i look forward to getting involved with the board a lot more and hopefully learn a lot more
TL;DR Hi

You just won your first bro? That is pretty amazing.
60% is definitely something that I am a fan of. Apart of from the 1800 layout, that is probably my favourite. The size is great for portability.

Welcome to Geekhack!

You can also entertain yourself by participating in the community ;)  Rack up a few posts, make a few contacts, and before you know it, you'll have a Bro Cap and lots of new friends :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
