mr. bill, is there no way we could reconsider the 3b colorway? I really enjoyed it

Unfortunately for 3B fans it didn't get a lot of support, I know Nubbs was disappointed too. White on Blue should meet MOQ much easier and I think it matches a lot more different colorways.

I'm still a believer and think it matches a lot more sets than the White on Blue, but I know I'm outspoken on that.  I'm hoping the Esc pack changes some minds.

WHY DID I NOT SEE THIS BEFORE?!?!
Because this thread has had some very confusing titles in the past, so you had to know about it to understand that the title meant. :). This was an easy one to miss till recently.

The original poster was adapting the title of the post to reflect the changes in design colors mainly. But it always has the GMK moniker. Besides, the GB's summary at the top of the GB's subforum has always included it. As Jacco wrote his comment was an expression of perplexity, not necessarily an actual question.

I know. I have been following this thread for a while. Its title changed a lot though which made it a little harder to keep track of. :)

Looks great, wish they matched Photekq's olivetti that's being sold just now (V4 instead of N5).

Might still have to go for them though, they look so damn good

V4 and N5 together are superior to just one or the other, as this is the closest to the original Triumph Adler Dario 286 colorway, the mods were N5 and the Alphas had V4. Check the attached. V4 and N5 would live well together and age well together.

Sorry if I am being dim, but is that the original colour of the caps? Is the teal colour just faded N5?

Just to be clear : The original colours used on ANY of Cherry's keyboards DO NOT correspond to the colours GMK offers.

E.G Olivetti legends are far darker than even the darkest blue GMK offers.

I highly doubt those colours are very close to V4 and N5. I think they are probably quite a bit off IRL.

They likely aren't the same, but V4/N5 is the closest we have today. The teal really is just a sky blue faded and yellowed as shown on the underside of the original caps. The TA Dario 286 was a tri-tone colorway, there's no reason these mods together with GMK Olivetti wouldn't look quite fine.

Thanks for the clarification Photekq, I think I am still in for this though; worst case scenario I could use them with your classic beige set when that gets sorted  ;)

Yes it is. First mockup gmk forgot to add it

Awesome!  Thanks for confirming. Also, I really appreciate that you added those two keys so a symmetrical layout is possible. That is my biggest pet peeve about all the existing gmk sets.

Fwiw: I have this blue (I am pretty sure) on some keys with my dolch set and it looks great. I will add some pics later tonight for those interested.

There may be a few other small thing I'll need to work out before this goes live.

Is it possible to make command keys for Mac users? That would be great: less mix n match trying to avoid the win and menu keys.

GMK doesn't do custom legends at all... At least not yet. Maybe they'll change their minds if TA does really well, and some other sets actually hit MOQ ;).

Win8 legend > all other legends.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

i'm staying up at night doing coursework and making useless posts to pass the time. why would you even take a post with 'n00b' seriously?

I actually just thought it was funny if you were being serious.

Gonna go ahead and put a tentative start date on this as Friday May 15th.

I probably won't be done shipping CMYW until April, and after that I will be pretty busy preparing for AP exams as well as my other finals. On the 15th I take my last exams and I will have time do get this GB going!

Sorry it's so late, I just want to do it when I am sure I have enough time so I don't make any mistakes. :thumb:

The price will be whatever the current usd -> euro rate it.

Euro price will be the same, usd price is subject to change.

Well, the euro has now been changed to equal about 1 dollar, or to be more exact, 1.05USD = 1 EUR, so the only reason it would change would be slight inflation or deflation of the USD to EUR exchange rate?
