That's the part that cracks me up.  We have some high prices here, but I never see them get insane until someone on Reddit sells it or the eBay sale is posted on Reddit.

Is /r/mk who's paying these prices? Are they not aware it's like the most common color?

Nice collection.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Earlier this week someone sold a Conspire for $80 and is trying to sell a Riptide V2 for $160!
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

That's not allowed - they will be banned.

I was hoping that these keys would stay relatively low on the radar and I might be able to get a Topre Clack for a somewhere close to sane price but that definitely did not turn out to be the case. No way would I pay $150 for a Mint Gum. I'm actually surprised the Guac and Orange aren't higher, I'd wager its because of people waiting until the last minute. I wouldn't be surprised if this guys clears $1k once all 6 sales are done.

Not colours you see for sale very often.

In fact the whole CC secondhand market has gone quiet the last 6 months or so.

Thanks man... I am unsure if I want to bid as I am also eyeing the "Winter is Coming" sale but then I am also not sure if I will win *That* but time is running out, LOL. One CC could stand me a chance to win two Bros in the sale......... so with limited funds and all, I am likely to trust Lady Luck!

Why is everybody selling CC?

Yeah, that MX Guac is super tempting. I'm sure they will all shoot up by at least $50 before they end though.

Also surprised the Topres are going for more than the MX. Traditionally MX Clacks have been higher priced.

I've actually got an Orangesicle in the mail to me right now. Does anyone think I'll be able to trade a Guac for it? Much prefer that color.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

GG Clack market. All the idiots will force the reasonable people to charge more out of sheer greed. Sigh, this is why I hate Ebay. It damaged the retro game market in the same fashion :(

Yeah, there was a good price system from GH friendly sales. Then here comes eBay, bam prices are through the roof.
