right guys, im around, im gonna get all the invoicing done now so expect one over the next hour or 2
id also like to comment on certain people making snarky comments about not getting in to sales, it really is a case of "if you hate on success, success is gonna hate on you"
i cant give out specific numbers, but i can say this, even if you went 0 and 15 on these sales, you wouldnt even be close to being unlucky, we get a huge amount of orders, not just from gh, and it wouldnt be possible to fill even close to all the orders if we tried
there is no conspiracy, i dont even recognise 60% of the people who got in this sale, or any sale previously, a huge majority of the people who win dont even actively post pics or even post on gh at all, many people are just as in to this hobby, but dont publicly participate, i also see people who win on these draws, yet turn up in the thread saying "oh no, i didnt get in woe is me" all the time
yes some people have been more lucky than others, that will always be the case, they are also the people who when they dont get in, congratulate people and look forward to pics and such, these people dont hate on success, and clearly success isnt hating on them
Just to add to this (well said Bunny, btw) that GH has an average of 25.72 new users registering EVERY DAY.
They don't all post in New Members, there might be 4 or 5 a day that do post there, where do all the other go?
I'd say that a fairly large number would register around the time of a sale requiring GH membership, participate in the sale, then disappear.
If the sales limited it to people who have been a GH member for more than one calendar month, that would cut down a lot on the anonymous participants.
Otherwise if you won, be happy
If you did not win, be happy that there is (usually, with [CTRL]ALT) a second chance sale.
If you still did not win, be happy that you saved some money for the next sale!
