I started by making like 6 versions of the BBv2, all in different sizes until I made one that was as small as it could get without looking all crap due to size limitations.

haha, so it was an iterative process. :)  i'll have to try this kind of thing sometime.  cool stuff, man.

That's correct! Feel free to use and edit my sprites for your signature needs or so. :)

I found the stump but I'm not sure if it's the latest version, but have a peek at them!

Yup. All of them. And then I use Photoshop to make the background transparent and crop/resize them.

Circa the year 2000 I used do a regular MS Paint comic based around the game Total Annihilation. It's pretty terrible but I racked up a couple of hundred thousand views nontheless.
