My keyboard experience would be better if I had never found out about mechanical keyboards.
I mean, mechanical keyboards feel A LOT better than rubberdomes (or at least better than those I used before) and still I find things to complain about. The perfectionism, i. e. THE GLORIOUS HUNT FOR THE PERFECT KEYBOARD, aka the hunt that'll never stop (unless you buy an HHKB Type S according to trustworthy and objective sources on GH) has begun when I first settled for a mechanical keyboard.

When I was using my rubberdome I never thought about improving my typing experience, now I constantly do. It is better now, that is true, but it is not more enjoyable if you keep trying to reach some sort of climax regarding your keyboard.
That said, I love mechanical keyboards. I'm just trying to prevent myself from seeking perfection when there is none and enjoy my already very good typing experience instead.
