One thing I forgot to mention. The only tricky part is if you are doing this - be careful when removing the PCB/plate assembly from the case. There is a small ribbon cable connecting the trackpad to the PCB which could easily break. You have to use a small implement to pop the little white ribbon cable clip off where it connects to the connector on the board. Putting it back on requires three hands
