Learning to Solder / Desolder
« on: Wed, 26 August 2015, 15:13:00 »
Hey everyone! I'm wanting to learn how to solder/desolder switches on a PCB.. it's something that's interested me for a little while now, so I thought I'd make an attempt at learning how it's done.

I was wondering though, and hopefully you all can help me with this, what equipment would I need to get started so that I can learn to solder and desolder?

I'm sure I'll spend hours watching youtube videos to watch how it's done, but for starters, I really have no clue what equipment/supplies I'd need.

Thanks in advance for your time!

The Living Soldering Thread is definitely worth checking out, most of the stuff i know is from there and i'm sure most stuff has been covered by now
