Hello and welcome hope you enjoy your stay here with us, always nice to have new people as for images as far as I know you need to first upload it to a website such as Imgur or photobucket then paste the image link and that should work, but others might know better :)

Anyway enjoy the stay!

Welcome to Geekhack!

You can either upload to a separate image hosting site and post a link to the picture, as Fire Brand suggested, or you can click the Preview button (instead of the Post button), and under the post box there is an "Attachments and other options" link.

Click that link and some more fields will appear so you can browse to the picture and attach it to your post.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
