Howdy! New member, first post.

Good day to all fellow GH members!

I stumbled across the wonderful world of Mechanical Keyboards around 12 months ago, dove in and purchased myself a Ducky Shine 3 DK9008 MX Browns which has served me well. As many of us do I then became interested in trying out a variety of switch types and board sizes to see what I enjoy most. I have since added a Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja TLK MX Browns & Poker II MX Blues to my small (for now) collection  ;D

Thanks for reading & no doubt I will be seeing you guys around.

I've used the poker as my main typing keyboard for a little under 3 months now and must say I much prefer the tactile click actuation over the less pronounced MX Browns, to me the browns feel a little to light for typing. On the other hand I prefer the browns when it comes to gaming.  I joined the recent MD Varmilo Switch Tester drop and am now eagerly awaiting it's arrival to try out a few different switches (MX Clears in particular)

Welcome to Geekhack!

Out of interest where did you buy them from?  Here in Melbourne a few of my keyboards came from PCCaseGear (and probably about as many from various sources in the US).

Do you have troubled with double-tapping keys on the MX blues when gaming?  Many people do, although I haven't noticed it myself.  Still I found I prefer linear switches for gaming.  Or maybe buckling springs.

Perhaps I'm just undecided :))

But yes, a very solid keyboard collection you have so far :)

Hi Rowdy!

My Ducky was purchased through PCCG, Filco via auspcmarket and the Vortex Poker was purchase online through Qtan @ Vendio.com. I do tend to have troubles with the double tapping aspect when gaming using my MX blue board & overall feel more comfortable gaming using the MX browns.

That being said I have only had previous experience using both Blues & Browns, I'm definitely interested in trying out linear switches in the future.

Sweet - I've bought from most of those, except AusPcMarket.  I think it might have been them I tried to get a Filco with yellow keycaps, and after a few months of stuffing around they decided they couldn't fulfill the order so I cancelled it.  I ended up getting a set of Filco yellow keycaps from a GH member in the US.

We also have mechkb.com down here, who have a reasonable range.
