I HAVE NO CAPS LOCK ON MY CURRENT KEYBOARD SO THIS WAS ALL TYPED WITH SHIFT HELD DOWN.

As one of the countless millions of people who've used various hacks to disable Caps Lock since it became possible to do so—and we're probably talking longer than most of you have been on the planet—I heartily endorse the idea of pausing annually to regard this utter waste of KB real estate and chuckle at human folly in general, albeit briefly.

I've rigged up my Caps Lock to give me a small electric shock whenever I press it. At least it does something useful now.
